Principal Message

Founded in 2015, West End Secondary School is a combined middle and high school that currently serves students across grades 6-12. We are proud to announce that we graduated our founding class in June 2022. We are incredibly proud of our first graduates and their countless accomplishments.

WESS envisions the classroom to be a safe context in which students can work through problems with guidance and the necessary supports to arrive at their own true discovery.  The delight that characterizes the moment when one reaches an understanding, arrives at the derivation of a formula, or acknowledges the connection between a math problem and its application to engineering are extraordinary moments in a student’s development.
